I found this amazing t-shirt at a thrift store for a whole $2.00, I saw the print and had to have it, not to mention but it's one of my favourite colours! Once I got home I noticed it had a few not so appealing stains under the armpits and near the hem. No biggie, grabbed my shears and cut the sleeves off and started fringing! I love how it turned out. Perfect for a hot summer day.

When i put this outfit on this morning i didn't even realize how 70s inspired it really was, it wasn't until i was on my way out the door heading to work when my brother(who would do anything just to be born 10 years earlier so he can say he was born in the 70s) asked me where i was going dressed as a hippy. Thankfully i was alone at work for the day so I was able to sing along to (without embarrassing myself) all my favourite Lynyrd Skynyrd, John Lennon, and The Who songs.

Alberta Ferretti Pre-Fall 2012

I feel as if I am in The Great Gatsby when i look at Alberta Ferretti's pre-fall 2012. The 1920's inspired collection is full of ornate bead work, sheers, lace, fur trims, fringe, sequins, dropped waist lines, cloche hats, t-strap shoes, all brought together with brilliant art deco silhouettes. The 1920's is my favourite era. The fashion, music, art and architecture is all so wonderful. Alberta Ferretti had definitely shown amazing designs for her pre-fall2012 collection.
